Terms of Service for Plansolo

Welcome to Plansolo (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Plansolo is a web-based weekly planner and Kanban board productivity tool (the “Service”). By accessing or using Plansolo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Plansolo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, including any future modifications. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Description of Service

Plansolo provides users with a web-based organizational tool combining weekly planning and Kanban board functionality. The Service allows you to create, organize, track, and manage tasks, projects, and schedules.

3. No Account Required; Optional Google Login

3.1 Guest Use

You may use Plansolo without creating an account. When using the Service as a guest, all your data—including tasks, boards, and settings—is stored locally in your browser’s cache and storage on your device. Deleting your browser cache while in guest mode will result in the deletion of your data.

3.2 Optional Google Login

If you choose to log in using your Google account, we will store your data in association with your account, allowing you to access your information across multiple devices. When you log in with Google, we receive only the basic account information necessary to authenticate you (such as your email address and name). You may disconnect your Google account at any time.

3.3 No Liability for Data Loss

Regardless of whether you use the Service as a guest or with a Google login, you are solely responsible for safeguarding your data. We are not responsible for any loss, corruption, or unauthorized access to your data. Guest users acknowledge that clearing browser cache, cookies, or storage may permanently delete all data associated with their Plansolo session.

4. User Data and Content

4.1 Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to any data, text, tasks, boards, or other content you create or store within Plansolo (“Your Content”). We do not claim ownership over Your Content.

4.2 License to Operate

By using Plansolo, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to access, store, display, and process Your Content solely as necessary to provide, maintain, and improve the Service. For users who do not log in, this processing occurs entirely within your browser and we do not store Your Content on our servers.

4.3 Data Storage Disclaimer

Guest users’ data is stored exclusively in local browser storage. We do not have access to, nor do we maintain backups of, guest user data. For users who log in with Google, we store Your Content on our servers, but we strongly recommend that you maintain your own backups of important information.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use Plansolo for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Uploading, storing, or sharing content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or infringing on intellectual property rights.

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or our systems.

  • Using the Service to distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code.

  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code of the Service.

  • Using the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable usage limits or imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure.

6. Intellectual Property and Restrictions

6.1 Our IP

All intellectual property rights in Plansolo, including but not limited to the software, design, layout, graphics, logos, underlying code, and the unique combination of features, are owned by us or our licensors. The Service is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 No Copying

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms. You have no right to copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit the Service or any part thereof without our express written permission.

6.3 Feedback

If you provide us with any suggestions, comments, or feedback regarding Plansolo, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate such feedback into the Service without any obligation to you.

7. Pricing and Future Premium Plans

7.1 Currently Free

Plansolo is currently offered as a free service. All features available today are provided at no cost.

7.2 Future Premium Plans

We reserve the right to introduce premium plans or paid features in the future. If we do so:

  • We will provide reasonable notice before implementing any pricing changes.

  • Existing features that were free may remain free or may transition to paid tiers at our discretion.

  • Any new premium features will be clearly identified.

  • If you choose to subscribe to a premium plan in the future, the applicable fees and billing terms will be provided at that time.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT GUEST DATA STORED IN BROWSER CACHE MAY BE LOST AT ANY TIME DUE TO BROWSER ACTIONS, DEVICE CHANGES, OR OTHER FACTORS BEYOND OUR CONTROL.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PLANSOLO BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY DATA LOSS SUFFERED BY GUEST USERS WHOSE DATA WAS STORED ONLY IN BROWSER CACHE, AS WELL AS ANY DATA LOSS SUFFERED BY USERS WHO LOG IN WITH GOOGLE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. AS THE SERVICE IS CURRENTLY FREE, THIS MEANS OUR LIABILITY IS $0.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Plansolo and its owners, affiliates, and employees from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

11. Termination

11.1 By You

You may stop using Plansolo at any time. Guest users may delete their local data by clearing their browser cache. Users who have logged in with Google may request account deletion by contacting us.

11.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to Plansolo at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, or if we are required to do so by law.

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. For guest users, no data will remain after browser cache is cleared. For logged-in users, we will delete Your Content from our servers within a reasonable time following termination, subject to any backup retention periods required for operational purposes.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Lebanon, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Lebanon.

13. Data Privacy

Your use of Plansolo is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Miscellaneous

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Plansolo regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
